That pregnant lady
Yup. I had athat pregnant lady moment yesterday.
Coming up with things to wear has been a daily challenge. At 5.5 months everything is too short, too tight and just…won’t…button. We’re on the cusp of a season change here, so I’ve been hesitant to invest in proper maternity clothes. With consecutive weeks of 70+ degree weather recently I finally thought some maternity pants were in order. And so I ordered. I took my new maternity jeans for spin yesterday. Except, crap. The spandex part starts really low and all my shirts and too short.The shirt’s a little tight around the belly because it’s a men’s shirt, but whatever, it covers the spandex. During our morning walk to the park, I notice I’m getting a lot of lingering looks. I must look really fat, sheesh. More looks. As my pants keep falling down, I look down and give it a big tug…and read my shirt…OH.
