Good for you

As a kid I never understood why my peers detested green beans. I love them, always have. Probably because my mom always made delicious crunchy sauteed green beans, and not the soggy microwaved frozen kinds served too often in a small suburb town.

Well. If you’ve been served too many soggy grey green beans in your time, try this for a change. A beautiful French style potato and green bean salad, found on NYtimes.com, a pick me up after reading depressing news. What is this world coming to? At least we have green beans. I think we’ll have this for dinner.
