I know, I still watch Grey’s Anatomy. I stuck through season 3 and 4 like a loyal sports fan whose team keeps losing. But I feel like I’ve been rewarded. I still love Grey’s like I knew I would. And last night’s episode was ridiculous and great. My favorite scene:

*spoiler* They were in a plane crash, Lexi died, Mer and Christina are looking for Derek and Mer is freaking out that Derek might be dead, she asks Mer “Do you think Derek is dead, too??!” and Christina says, “I don’t know, maybe, but I’ve got PTSD so you know I’m no reliable.” Only a best friend would tell you that.
Keep it coming Grey’s with your crazy storyline.

You know that store that you always walk by…on your way to work…on your way to the store…on your way to the post office. You’ve walked by it a million times and the window dressings always pique your interest. But for some reason you’ve never gone in. Perhaps you’re afraid that you’ll love it too much. Perhaps you’re afraid that it’ll disappoint.
There’s this little jewelry store up the street from us. I can’t say how many times I’ve walked by it, checking out the displays from the corner of my eyes. I’ve never gone in because, well, I don’t buy much jewelry. And it’s such a strange place for a jewelry store, can’t be anything good, right?
Wrong.

Among other unique pieces is this lucite bracelet from Alexis Bittar. I might just take a little break today and walk over to Greenwich Jewelers….

The only savior of school cafeterias is the tater tot. And as I recall they never gave me enough!
Well, imagine my pleasure when I discovered this great idea:
Tater Tot Casserole

Whaaaaaaat? You heard right.
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of celery or cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 16oz package frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt & pepper
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown ground beef. season with salt & pepper.
- Add chopped onion, cook until tender.
- In a casserole dish, combine ground beef mixture & cream soup.
- Top mixture with tater tots.
- Bake , uncovered, for 30-40 minutes till bubbly and Tots are golden brown.
- remove from oven & top with cheese, return to oven until melted.
- Enjoy!
I’m excited to try this treat this weekend for brunch.
