I’m feeling restless. Anxious. My mind wanders to lazy afternoons in Paris, following the narrow streets….just walking and feeling satisfied. Once during my travels I discovered a little jewelry shop. Beautiful. And I suddenly re-discovered it in a pile of emails. The name sounded so familiar. Anna Rivka. Anna Rivka, in the Marais district.

So Deco. I want to meet the woman who can wear this…headpiece? And I want to be your friend.

It’s midday. I am feeling that sluggishness that gives companies like 5-hour Energy business. Except I could never drink that stuff (bad experience with Red Bull…forever traumatized). I prefer my kick in the form of coffee. Can’t wait to get me some of this mud-like stuff in Greece!

There’s only a month before departure date. Anyone know if I’m allowed to bring olive wreaths into Greece as carry on? Department of State doesn’t seem to pick up their phones. Not surprising.

M and I had a great weekend. Lure Fish Bar - amazing. Inception - go see it. But by golly if I had walked around naked I woulda still had too much on.
It’s really hot outside. Uncomfortably hot. So naturally my subconscious is thinking about fall and winter. I’m a California girl at heart and this seasons thing is just confusing. When it’s summer I think about winter, when it’s winter I dream about summer. It’s messed up. But at least my subconscious is in tune with the fashion mags because everything on the glossies is wool, tweed and shearling. Very well then. My favorite RTW for fall/winter 2010.

They sure don’t make movie posters like they used to

And they sure don’t make broads the way they used to

I just watched Niagra (thanks to Gant’s new collection). How pleasantly surprised and impressed was I to see this pink bombshell of a dress? I had no idea they made stuff like this back then. Everyone with their full calf length skirts. But then again, only Marilyn.
Have a fun weekend. Wear something daring.
